Stayed at the Columbia Beach hotel ( 4 star ) which sits adjacent to its 5 star sister establishment ,the 'resort'. Both hotels are excellent , enjoying the same blue flag beach and high levels of service and food. Many, like us, now opt to stay in the the 4 star - better value, same standards. The Resort can feel a little too formal.
Only one downside as far as we are concerned , but one that we find in every quality hotel now - the high price of drinks. All a bit counter productive on the part of the hotel, as the hotel bars seemed empty most evenings we were there. Would we go again - definitely, for the quality environment.
