The hotel grounds were beautiful and the reception area was really big and impressive on entering. The room was beautiful with a large TV, expresso machine and plenty of wardrobe space.  We were booked in under a bed and breakfast, there was loads of selection... cooked breakfast, fresh omlettes, cheeses, fresh fruits, cereals, waffles/pancakes, champagne and smoked salmon even!

We ate at the meditaranno restaurant one evening (which was closest to the sea), it was a buffet, and although it was a very good buffet it did not warrant the very expensive price tag! The other dampener of the evening was the bloke providing the entertainment... it was painful to listen to! Another thing to note is that the dress code in the evening (no blue jeans and long trousers for men) was not adhered to, and one person who on seeing the dress code and therefore went into Paphos to buy trousers was a bit annoyed to see folk wearing their shorts!

This was the laziest holiday were have ever had, we were quite happy relaxing by the pool most days. With being the the royal apartments, we were allowed to use the royal pool (adults only) which was very quiet, we quite often had it to ourselves.  The staff from the pool bar came round every so often to offer drinks, you didn't really get a feel for just how busy the hotel was, it seemed quite full but it never felt that busy!

We did see four weddings during our stay, but they were in a separate area and not really beside the pool area
