We decided to book our honeymoon at the Nissi Beach Hotel
following the reviews on Trip Advisor.
The hotel has its own beach which is also open to the public.
The hotel is set in beautiful gardens backing onto the beach.
There are various snack bars etc to choose from, a nice outdoor
pool and a decent sized indoor pool with a gym, jacuzzi, sauna
etc.
The service in the hotel was excellent. I emailed the hotel
about a week before to let them know it was going to be out
honeymoon (hint hint hint!) and when we arrived they gave us a
complimentary bottle of champagne delivered to the room. We also
had a lovely free a la carte meal on the second night again with
free champagne, throughout the holiday service was great.
The room we stayed in (room 203) was pretty average - old TV and
fittings etc. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old, it
didn't cool the room down that well but the average temp was 40
degrees in the day. The entertainment was quite basic but
enjoyable. Nissi Beach itself is a lovely beach, probably one of
the best in Cyprus.
We stayed bed and breakfast at the hotel, Breakfast was good,
nice and varied.
Overall, we are pleased that we chose this hotel for our
honeymoon. |
