My wife and I had a 10 night stay at the amathus hotel cyprus for our honeymoon. As a honeymoon couple we were upgraded to a full sea view room (from side sea view), a bottle of champagne (and sandwich snack) waiting in the room after check in, flowers and vouchers for use of the spa. The first morning we were also given a champagne breakfast in bed! We were also given a 5 course meal with a bottle of wine at the La Luna Rosa restaurant - all of which was complimentary.
Overall a very generous honeymoon package and made our stay that little bit extra special.

The room was spacious and spotless, in fact the whole hotel was very well maintained. Beautiful pool area and gardens, plenty of space and lots of sunbeds.
We were on Half board and the food was fantastic. Choice of open air italian buffet, changing buffet daily in the classy La Luna Rosa restarant or you can choose the 4 course set meal, with various options for each course (changes daily). There is also a oriential restarant (with you get an allowance towards if your half board). All the food we had (breakfast, buffets and at lunchtimes) was top quality


The only negative thing I can say is that the cost of drinks is quite high, however you come to expect that of 5* hotels and as the setting and service is so nice it is worth the extra cost.

In summary its a great location - on the beach and a 25 minutes stroll along the front to the harbour, great service and great food.
