We have been coming to Protars for many years now but this was the first time we stayed at the Sandra and have to say we dont regret it at all.There was me, my wife and our 3 children so we was abit worried if we could all fit in a one bedroom apartment but we was so shocked when we arrived as it was roomy and very nice.We arrived late in the evening and when we got into the room there was a welcome pack, ok you have to pay for it if you accept this but it was a very nice thought as the last thing you want to do when you get there is shopping.We put our suitecases in the room and went down to the bar and was welcomed by the bar manager Mark and his daughter Gemma they was very nice people and made our stay a real joy from the moment we arrived untill the day we went back home.The pool bar is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool during the day and the kids loved plying in the pool and around the bar area.There were plenty of sunbeds about so no need to worry.We was not that far from the beach so this was a lovely location and we stayed on the ground floor and had no trouble with noise.We have to recommend the pool bar's menu and the Sunday roast well worth the money and very tasty. Mark has done a lovely job having a different menu for the day and then a 3 course menu for the evening.We also didnt find that the pool bar ran out of everything so please dont belive all the necative things what was written on here. As we found out for ourselves and couldnt fault the place.The staff at the Sandra are very friendly and helpful same with the pool bar.Our rooms were cleaned six days a week and sheets changed twice a week.One thing that did impress us was that when we first arrived our air con was not working.I let reception know and the next day the air con was changed for a new unit.We also have to say a big thank you to Mark,Gemma,Kerry, Jake and little baby Kira they made our holiday enjoyable as they was all so friendly and very helpful from day one.
