Arrived home on Sunday from a week at the Vangelis. This is my third time self catering in Protaras and without doubt, of the three, this was the best hotel in the best location, (halfway along the main strip), albeit most expensive, that I have stayed in.
We were given a room in Block B, which I notice has been lambasted in some previous reviews, but really was fine. Our studio was large, with above average level of furnishings, and all the appliances were modern & worked. The view was ok, encompassing some of the car park, a few restaurants, some hotels, a 100yds of the main strip, and the sea.
All in all a terrific holiday, weather was tremendous, September really does appear to be the best time to go. If I ever go back to Protaras would definitely try and stay at the Vangelis. we had a great holiday in Protaras
